About the event
8th annual Thunder on the Plains Car, Truck, Tractor & Cycle Show. Fun-filled day with some great rides to view, good food, music, beer garden and topped of by a live auction. Proceeds go to help local charities. Over the past 7 years, Thunder has give back over $80,000 because of the generosity of our sponsors and participants. The show is free for spectators and all are welcome to bid on the awesome items that have been donated by our sponsors. Music will be supplied by Rockin' Thunder Music. Come browse the great merchandise offered by Hays Toy Show. Food offereings include Pfonz BBQ, Sunflower Kitchen and The Local Food Truck. Cool off during the day by visiting the Snow Cone Express or the Sno-Shack. Relax with a brew at the Beer Garden sponsored by the Soroptimist Club. Awards will be handed out at 2pm.
